The medieval power centre of Šariš was the Šarišský hrad Castle, the ruins of which are on the top plain of a distinct elevation above the town Veľký Šariš situated north-west of Prešov.

The only accessible cave in the north-east of Slovakia is the cave Zlá Diera (Bad Hole) near the village Lipovce. Speleological (cave) guides are available for demanding visitors. In the Branisko mountains, between the village of Lipovce and the settlement of Lačnov, there is a unique 2 km long canyon created by the Lačnov brook. This extremely attractive locality can be found on maps and in the literature under various names; it is most often referred to as the Lačnov Canyon, the Lačnovská Strait or the Lačnovský Stream Strait, but some also call it the Little Slovak Paradise.

Centrally located in the village of Fricovce, Kastiel Fricovce is a manor house dating from the 17th century.

The Greek Catholic wooden church of St Lucas the Evangelist from 1727. It consists of three parts and its architecture is atypical. This log structure bears traits of the Gothic Roman Catholic architecture. The independent tower standing apart from the nave is typical. The church is located in the historic cemetery. It is one of the oldest wooden churches in Slovakia. The main altar from 1782 is in the Baroque style. Iconostas of this church is even older (1733).

Lanové centrum je športový areál, ktorý ponúka atraktívne programy pre skupiny aj jednotlivcov. Ide o komplex lanových prekážok, ktoré sú umiestnené vo výške 8 až 10 metrov nad zemou, ktoré účastníci prekonávajú po zaškolení inštruktorom. Súčasťou areálu je detská dráha Lanáčik, vonkajšia lezecká stena a tiež kaviareň s veľkou terasou a letný multifunkčný altánok. V areáli parku sú v súčasnosti umiestnené aj sochárske diela vytvorené umelcami počas sympózia “Práci česť”.

The orthodox synagogue was built in Prešov in 1897 – 1898 by the Koláček & Wirth construction company.

The dominant of Prešov is the parish church of St Nicholas from the mid-14th century with tall tower reconstructed in Gothic style.

The Regional Museum in Prešov was originally established as the Municipal Museum in 1945. Currently located at the historical Rákoczi’s Palace in the town centre. Currently, the museum houses exhibitions of regional character.

Museum’s exhibition is located in 500-year-old two-storey cellars below the town hall and presents especially bottled wines from all corners of the world, complemented by three-dimensional exhibits presenting wine-making technology as well as vine growing.

The Šariš Gallery in Prešov is one of the oldest regional galleries in Slovakia. It has the status of the Prešov Self-governing Region regional gallery now.

This former ruin has become a new landmark! The Water Tower, a unique technical monument, has been reconstructed and gives visitors a view over the main town in the Šariš region and the surrounding area.

Nová budova Divadla Jonáša Záborského bola otvorená 14. septembra 1990. Je to prvá špecializovaná budova divadla na Slovensku v histórii Československa s očakávaním, že Historická budova DJZ poslúži po rekonštrukcii divadlu aj prvému slovenskému divadelnému múzeu.

The Roman Catholic wooden Church of St Francis of Assisi (Kostol sv. Františka z Assisi) is in 2008, along with seven wooden churches of the Slovak part of Carpathian Mountain Area, it was included on the UNESCO Word Heritage List.

Areály Paintball Dúbravka je nové paintballové ihrisko na Spiši, kde sa môžete vyblázniť a zažiť plno adrenalínu. Ihrisko má zatiaľ cca 140 prekážok, 5 bunkrov a 1 most, ale počet stále narastá a rozlohu cca 7500 m2. Ideálny počet hráčov je 8 – 12.

Miesto, kde sa môžete vyblázniť a zažiť plno adrenalínu. Hrá sa vonku alebo v budove tvaru "h". Počas hry sa používajú aj dymovnice.

Obec Lenartov sa nachádza v blízkosti slovensko-poľskej hranice. Koncom 19. stor. cez ňu viedla obchodná cesta z Poľska do Galície. Ostali po nej spomienky v podobe studne (prameňa) a zrúcaniny hostinca Kráľova studňa. Dnes v obci pôsobí občianske združenie Kráľova studňa z Lenartova, ktoré sa zaslúžilo aj o výstavbu rozhľadne. Vybudovali ju nad Lenartovom v roku 2011.
