The museum exists thanks to the efforts made by people who, ever since the 1970s, have been gathering historical equipment that documents the development of railway and road transport. The development of road transport is presented by a collection of motorcycles and automobiles dated from the time between the two world wars up to vehicles from the 1970s.

Divadlo vzniklo v r. 1957 pod názvom Štátne bábkové divadlo. V súčasnosti patrí do zriaďovateľskej pôsobnosti Bratislavského samosprávneho kraja, preto bolo premenované na Bratislavské bábkové divadlo. Na konte má 183 premiér a viac ako 13 000 predstavení doma a vo svete, ako aj množstvo významných ocenení z medzinárodných festivalov.

Divadlo Korzo´90 bolo založené 1. 4. 1990 a od septembra 1990 sa datuje prvá sezóna 1990/1991. V roku 1993 prijalo meno Astorka Korzo´90 podľa názvu bývalej kaviarne Astória, ktorá sa nachádzala v budove pôvodného sídla Divadla Astorka Korzo´90 na Suchom mýte 17. Od roku 2002 pôsobí Astorka na Námestí SNP 33.
