The Literary Museum, also called the Hviezdoslav Museum, was merged with the Orava Patriotic Museum in 1980 and the Orava Museum was established, which includes the literary exposition of P. O. Hviezdoslav to this day.
The literary exhibition in three rooms presents the life and work of one of the most important realistic, lyrical-epic authors of Slovak literature from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries - poet, playwright, translator and lawyer Pavel Országh Hviezdoslav (February 2, 1849 Vyšný Kubín - November 8, 1921 Dolný Kubin). The textual and pictorial material is complemented by original personal memorabilia from the estate of the poet Pavel Országh Hviezdoslav. It is his study, part of the salon, clothing, gifts for anniversaries and many personal items. The exhibition is complemented by art counterparts acad. painter Eva Trizuljaková, inspired by Hviezdoslav 's lyrical cycle Bloody Sonnets and Period Furniture.
