Kukkonia, ako projekt trvalo udržateľného rozvoja regiónu V marci 2014 sme spustili implementáciu projektu trvalo udržateľného rozvoja regiónu s názvom Kukkonia a aj webový portál Kukkonia. Cieľom portálu je poskytnúť návštevníkom územia Kukkónie, ale aj miestnemu obyvateľstvu, čo možno najkomplexnejšie a najaktuálnejšie informácie o možnostiach a dianí v regióne. Water mill near Dunajský Klátov in the lowland Podunajská nížina in the south-western Slovakia is one of few preserved water mills in Slovakia with the bottom mill race.

Pan mill in Jahodná, in the south-west of Slovakia, is one of the interesting wooden water mills on the river Malý Dunaj.

In the picturesque environment on the bank of the Little Danube near the village Tomášikovo, the charming Water Mill of Tomášikovo stands there since 1893. The mill was actively used until 1960. It is interesting that in 1940, a dynamo was installed in it and thanks to that it also worked on electric drive.

The pan mill in Tomášikovo in the south-west of Slovakia is one of few surviving water mills in Slovakia with bottom mill race. Today is the technical monument, which demonstrates the past milling activities in southern Slovakia.

Vodný kolový mlyn v Jelke na juhozápade Slovenska patrí medzi pozoruhodné technické pamiatky a je považovaný za stredoeurópsku raritu. Ide o trojpodlažný drevený mlyn, aký sa v okolitých štátoch nenachádza.

The Late-Romanesque Roman Catholic monastic church of the Virgin Mary from 1228 is along with the monastery in Hronský Beňadik the most remarkable and most valuable monastic architecture in Slovakia.

The Homeland Studies Museum in Galanta had its seat in the family residence of the Esterházys – a Neo-gothic mansion house in Galanta from 1970. Due to its renovation, the museum was removed to a building of a former bank in the centre of the town. The museum specializes in documenting history of miller´s trade in the river basin of the Malý Dunaj (Little Danube) and lower reaches of the Váh river.

The pride and symbol of Galanta is the Renaissance mansion. The mansion stands in the middle of a housing estate surrounded by panel buildings. In the past, it was set in a beautiful park. The Renaissance manor house belonged to the most important Hungarian noble family of Esterházy

The Open-Air Museum of Bee Keeping (Múzeum včelárstva na Slovensku) is another interesting exhibition situated in the area of Včelárska paseka near Senec.
