A legend about the loyal servant of the last King of the Roman Castle, Mikuláš Berčéni, is connected to the Brunovce court. Upon the downfall of Rákoci's rebellion, Janko Seker was seized by Blanko Seker, who had disconnected and had to wait for the return of his commander Nicholas, who had decided to go to Theatin Castle first. The legend is a sad story of wisdom, war, and goodwill in service.
The noble mansion was originally fortified with valleys and surrounded by the pouring water of the Váhu. In the courtyard of the manor house is the Little Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. There is a baroque altar from around 1700 with the painting of the Assumption.
