The concept of the exposition of the City History Museum in the Old Town Hall puts the emphasis on presenting the history of Bratislava’s residents with a background of historical events affecting life within the city from prehistoric times to present day.

The Rococo-style palace was built on the initiative of Count Juraj Apponyi of Oponice between 1761 and 1762. The building was purchased by local authorities in 1867, and since 1932 it has been used by the City Museum of Bratislava. Since 2008, after it underwent vast reconstruction, it has been the seat of the Museum of Viticulture and the Museum of Historical Interiors.

The Franciscan church consecrated to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary is very old. It is the oldest preserved sacral building in Bratislava.

Divadlo Korzo´90 bolo založené 1. 4. 1990 a od septembra 1990 sa datuje prvá sezóna 1990/1991. Od roku 2002 pôsobí Astorka na Námestí SNP 33.

Divadlo GUnaGU je profesionálny súbor, ktorý hrá výlučne vlastné, autorské hry. GUnaGU vzniklo v roku 1985 pôvodne ako amatérsky súbor (zakladateľmi boli lekár Viliam Klimáček a matematici Ivan Mizera, Zuzana Benešová, Milan Paštéka).

The Bratislava City Gallery is the second largest gallery in Slovakia. Its activities are associated with permanent exhibitions of a part of the extensive visual art collection and with regular presentations of valuable pieces of visual art of Slovak and foreign origin, focusing not only on old works, such as Gothic art but also on the latest trends.

The exhibition introduces visitors to the history of the town fortifications; various types of bladed weapons, military as well as tournament arms are displayed here and a separate section is devoted to the development of firearms.
