During the winter season, the region Liptov and especially valley Žiarska dolina is a paradise for cross-country skiing lovers. Well-maintained cross-country trails are available to all keen cross-country skiers within a radius of 20 km throughout the winter season. The parking is paid. Not far from the parking lot there is also a Bear´s Mine Adit. At the end of the valley, you will find the cottage Žiarska chata, where you can refresh yourself or spend the night. It is open daily.
