The Medvedia Cesta is designed for children and adults visiting the Hrabovská Valley and its surroundings. The trail informs them in an unpretentious way about the life of the brown bear occurring in this locality. Also, the fauna and flora living in the valley are shortly introduced to visitors. Within an easy three-kilometre walk, visitors stop at seven locations of the Medvedia Cesta nature trail to get basic information about the brown bear and its habits. In addition to written information on boards, the trail includes wallpapers, a climbing attraction, a bear´s bunker and a bear´s "bathroom".

The trail starts in Hrabovská Valley near the dam and ends under the Sidorovo massive near Mini Farm. The trip can be conveniently combined with other trips, for example, to Vlkolínec (UNESCO World Heritage Site), to an observation platform Sidorovo or Malinô Brdo. After completing the nature trail, visitors can continue their trip along cycling routes of various difficulties, try scooters, a cable car and so on. Hrabovská Valley is a great resort to do various activities such as water or adrenaline sports or just relax by the dam.

Accessibility and parking

No bus lines run to Hrabovo from a bus stop/railway station in Ružomberok.

There is a spacious free car park at the valley station of the cable car to Malinô Brdo.
