The trail begins at the parking place in front of the Municipal Office of the village of Vlachy, where you can refresh yourself in a local pub. Slightly ascending path leads through the village. After passing the bridge turn right where later a steeper climb will lead you to the dam wall. On the wall there is a plaque containing technical information on the dam Liptovská Mara. The green marked route leads along the dam leading you along the harbour to the white chapel situated next to the dam. There is a bar in the chapel where you can cool off and enjoy the view of Liptovská Mara from a different perspective. On the other side of the road, opposite the chapel, an archaeological museum Havránok is located on the steeper hills, which is worth seeing. The route continues along the road to the village of Bobrovník. You can visit the restaurant in the local Hotel Bobrovník. The red marked route with number 0864 will lead you to Tvarožná. From this point you can return to the white chapel over the hill Úložisko with a steep ascent. For children it would be more appropriate to return to the route you have taken to get to Tvarožná. You can also admire the dam Liptovská Mara from a water bike or a boat.
