Turkish bridge in Poltár
The Turkish bridge over the river Ipeľ in Poltár, in the south of central Slovakia, is the third oldest preserved bridge of its kind in Slovakia.
The impressing stone bridge with three arches is situated in the ward of town Poltár called Zelené. The bridge dates to the time of the Turkish occupation in this region in the years 1554 – 1593.
But in this case, this is not the original version of the bridge as it was rebuilt in reconstruction. Original stones were used in reconstruction and the bridge is still in use. The bridge is the sought out attraction and asset of Poltár.

Novohrad Museum and Gallery Lučenec
Novohrad Museum in Lučenec was established in 1955 as the District Homeland Studies Museum in Halič. In the years 1967 – 1985 it was relocated to Fiľakovo under the name of the Novohrad Museum.
